Cade Nelson brings a passion for assisting the advisors who help individuals, families, and businesses plan for the future and work toward their goals. A graduate of the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management with a degree in Finance, Cade turned his academic foundation into a calling — drawn to the profession by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through thoughtful, forward-looking financial services.
Cade works with a diverse range of clients, including business owners, families, retirees, and next-generation clients who are just beginning their financial journeys. His approach is rooted in the belief that service is never one size fits all — it's about truly listening to each client's individual needs, understanding their unique circumstances, and adjusting accordingly. One of his favorite aspects of the work is the ability to dive deep into an individual stock an advisor has recommended and clearly explain how that single choice fits into the broader picture of a client's entire financial plan. It's this combination of analytical depth and personalized communication that defines his service.
Cade's investment philosophy is guided by a principle he often shares with clients, borrowed from Warren Buffett: "Be fearful when others are greedy, and be greedy when others are fearful." It's a mindset that keeps clients grounded during periods of market excess and positioned to take advantage of opportunity when others hesitate — an approach that reflects both discipline and long-term thinking.
A native of Waunakee, Wisconsin, Cade now resides in Oakdale, Minnesota. When he's not working with clients, he enjoys golf, hiking, fishing, and just about anything that gets him outdoors.
